I began my career in the financial industry working for my father's tax accounting firm, The 4-1-1 Group,Inc.. After graduating with a BA in Business/Economics from Randolph-Macon College, I took a hiatus from this industry after being signed to play professional baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals. During my brief career, I took notice to the lack of emphasis on proper financial management by my teammates and coaches alike. None of us had any guidance on how to properly plan our lives.

After my baseball career ended, I decided to pursue a career as a financial planner to be able to help those in need of navigating their financial situations. I started by working for a company in Atlanta, GA that specialized in helping independent financial advisors grow their businesses. The knowledge gained by helping hundreds of advisors around the country led to my decision to come home, gain my masters in Accounting and Financial Management, obtain professional licenses that allows me to be a fiduciary for our clients, and create our own independent financial advisory firm.

The professional licenses obtained include a Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination and a Life & Annuities Insurance License. I am an Investment Advisor Representative with Gradient Advisors, LLC.. Gradient Advisors provide industry leading back office support as well as provide access to the professionally managed porfolios offered to our clients.

I am incredibly lucky to be able to work with my beautiful wife, Shea, and am a proud dad to our daughter Lillian, son Brooks and dog, Turner.
